Zelda Finally Stars in Her Own Game: Echoes of Wisdom
Jun 18, 2024 2:49 PMNintendo has officially announced The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, marking the first game where Princess Zelda takes center stage. Set in the style of the Link's Awakening remake, Echoes of Wisdom flips the traditional Zelda narrative, making Link the one in need of rescuing. Players will guide Zelda as she navigates through Hyrule, dealing with rifts in space that are swallowing parts of the land and its inhabitants. A fairy named Tri aids her, providing a rod that lets her create clones of objects and enemies to solve puzzles and combat adversaries. Unlike Link, Zelda's gameplay focuses more on puzzles than on action. The game is set to release on September 26, 2024. Additionally, a new Hyrule Edition of the Switch Lite will be available, designed to look like the classic gold Zelda 3DS.
