Microsoft has announced that it will be replacing the Xbox Games with Gold subscription with the new Xbox Game Pass Core subscription starting September 14. However, the Xbox Games with Gold will come to an end on September 1.
The new launch of the Xbox Game Pass Core will provide players access to a library of 25 games from Xbox Game Studios, Bethesda, and other developers. The catalog of games will also be expanded two to three times a year with new titles.
Existing Xbox Games with Gold members will automatically become members of the new service with the Game Pass Core release. Both Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Core members will retain access to claimed Xbox 360 and Xbox One games from their subscriptions.
The new membership will cost €9.99 per month, a price comparable to the existing PC Game Pass subscription. The titles available at the launch of Xbox Game Pass Core will include popular games like Among Us, Descenders, Dishonored 2, Doom Eternal, Fable Anniversary, and others.
