Microsoft has unveiled more games slated for the launch of their Xbox Game Pass Core service tomorrow, September 14, raising the original number of games from 25 to 36. This change comes as the Xbox Live Gold evolves into Xbox Game Pass Core, set to continue offering users access to the Xbox multiplayer network at a cost of $10 monthly or $60 annually. The previous Games with Gold feature is being replaced with a selection of titles from the Xbox Game Pass catalog.
Among the 36 games available during the launch include favorites such as Among Us, Dishonored 2, DOOM Eternal Standard Edition, Fallout 4, and Halo 5: Guardians. Xbox plans to update the Game Pass Core library two to three times a year, maintaining the same benefits Xbox Live Gold formerly offered, including deals, discounts of up to 50% off selected games, and access to Free Play Days for certain fully featured games.
