Shadow of the Erdtree has received outstanding reviews, including a 10/10 from IGN. CD Projekt humorously tweeted about their team preparing for the release of FromSoftware's DLC, marking it a significant gaming event. While CD Projekt is working on new Witcher projects, fans must wait for their release.

What makes Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree DLC so highly rated?

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree DLC excels by condensing the essence of the base game into a 20-25 hour campaign filled with new challenges, adding significant value for fans.

Elden Ring, developed by FromSoftware, has continued to receive critical acclaim since its release in 2022. The game's intricate world design, challenging combat, and deep storytelling have captivated players worldwide. Shadow of the Erdtree builds upon these foundations, introducing new content that has been praised for maintaining the high standards of the original game. In contrast, The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine expansion also received numerous awards and praise when it was released in 2016, recognized for its rich narrative and strong character development, serving as a worthy sendoff for the protagonist, Geralt of Rivia.

It's awesome to see FromSoftware's Elden Ring DLC getting so much love, especially from a studio as respected as CD Projekt. Shadow of the Erdtree must be doing something right to outshine Blood and Wine, which was already a masterpiece in its own right
