EA and Ascendant Studios have released the major 'The Echollector' update for 'Immortals of Aveum,' now available on all platforms, upgrading the game to version 1.0.6.0. This update introduces new endgame challenges, performance enhancements, and quality of life improvements. 'Immortals of Aveum' players can explore four new endgame Shatterfanes to defeat a magical construct known as the Echollector and stop it from manipulating The Path's power.

Apart from the new quests and legendary gear, players can delve into expanded lore about the ancient Arystean being. The update also brings the New Game Plus feature, allowing players to restart the journey with current progress and enhanced gear, facing enemies with rebalanced stats. Additionally, The Grand Magnus Difficulty is now available for those seeking a tougher challenge with new combat obstacles.

To mark the launch of 'The Echollector' update, a trial version of 'Immortals of Aveum' is being offered on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Despite its positive critical reception, 'Immortals of Aveum' had lackluster sales leading to financial issues and significant layoffs at Ascendant Studios. IGN's review praised the game for its vibrant first-person shooter mechanics and spellcasting combat, giving it an 8/10 score.

'Immortals of Aveum' continues to enhance its gameplay experience, providing existing fans and new players with exciting content and tougher gameplay modes to keep the magic-infused FPS action fresh and engaging.
