Ubisoft expresses satisfaction with sales of Assassin's Creed Mirage

Oct 12, 2023 10:29 AM

Ubisoft, the video game publisher, has expressed satisfaction over the sales figures for its latest release, Assassin's Creed Mirage. Though specific figures aren't given, the company says the sales have so far been comparable to those of previous games in the series, Assassin's Creed Origins and Odyssey. They are embracing the game's positive reception, which has been dubbed their "biggest new-gen release".

In addition to the sales news, Ubisoft shared some impressive gameplay statistics. Apparently, players have together spent an equivalent of 479 million years performing parkour moves in the game. There have been 60 million 'leaps of faith', and more than 1.2 million cats have been petted within the game.

Assassin's Creed Mirage was released last week for various platforms including PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One and PC. Reviewer Lars Cornelis rated it 6.5, considering the game's focus on assassination and absence of new elements left it feeling somewhat lacking, yet nostalgic and entertaining.

Ubisoft is a renowned name in the gaming industry known for its quality games, including the iconic The Legend of Zelda and the intriguing Hollow Knight. The anticipation for their future releases remains high among the gaming community.

In related news, Assassin's Creed Mirage is now available for purchase on several platforms including PlayStation 5 and can be ordered from Bol.com and Amazon.nl.
