Sarah Bond and Matt Booty earn promotions within Xbox

In the wake of the Activision Blizzard acquisition, Xbox has announced promotions for Sarah Bond and Matt Booty. According to The Verge, Matt Booty, formerly the head of Xbox Game Studios, now assumes the role of Director of Game Content and Studios. This role extends his purview beyond Xbox Studios to include Bethesda and ZeniMax. Sarah Bond has taken on the position as General Manager of Xbox Hardware and Software, overseeing the entire division.

Concurrent to this, the company's Chief Marketing Officer, Chris Capossela departs after a 32-year tenure with Microsoft. Despite these changes, Bethesda is reportedly to remain separate from Xbox, although with the company now answering to Booty, the lines may begin to blur. Earlier this month, Bethesda's Head of Publishing, Pete Hines, announced his departure.
