Sony recently announced the full list of new additions to the PlayStation Plus Games Catalog slated for October 2023. With 15 games set to join the lineup, it's shaping up to be seriously scary!

The new games come not only in time for Halloween but also feature some big titles, including the Batman-inspired co-op game, Gotham Knights, and the critically acclaimed Disco Elysium: The Final Cut.

The PlayStation Games Catalog will feature 11 games for Extra and Premium members, and four additional games exclusively for Premium members.

Despite slightly mixed reviews at launch, Gotham Knights is one of the highlights this month. This cooperative superhero game got off to a rocky start, but who knows, you might have a different opinion!

Disco Elysium: The Final Cut, on the other hand, has been a hit from the beginning. This narrative-driven RPG won a perfect score in a review at IGN, taking the title of "masterpiece".

Another exciting offering is Outlast 2, which returns gamers to the nerve-wracking survival horror genre that proved extremely popular in the first game. If you're looking for a scare, this is one to try.

For fans of horror with a hint of classic teen slasher movies, The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes might be just what the doctor ordered. Released as a free game for October 2023, this title from Supermassive earned an 8/10 review from IGN, proving it's another great addition to their horror portfolio.

So, are you excited for these new game additions? Whether it's high-action superhero adventures or brain-twisting RPGs you're into, there's something for everyone this Halloween season.
