A new patch, numbered 2.01, for the game Cyberpunk 2077 has just been released by developer CD Projekt Red. The update primarily addresses a save bug affecting PlayStation users. The patch, which is the first one since last month's major 2.0 update and Phantom Liberty expansion pack, also improves gameplay performance in Dogtown, a new area introduced with the expansion.
In addition, PlayStation 5 gamers encountering corrupted saves when playing the PlayStation 4 version of the game will find these issues resolved. A comprehensive list of patch notes can be found on the developer's website. The expansion, Phantom Liberty, was rated highly by reviewer Harry Hol who praised it for its engaging story, unique characters, and the renewed opportunity for meaningful player choices.
CD Projekt Red also shared some details about the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077, which is currently in the conceptual phase, with the same team who worked on Phantom Liberty taking the lead. Furthermore, a live-action project related to Cyberpunk, whether a film or series is yet to be determined, is in the works.
