NEED FOR SPEED UNBOUND RECEIVES EXTRA YEAR OF CONTENT

Celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Need for Speed series, Criterion Games has announced a year-long content rollout for Need for Speed Unbound, the latest installment that debuted in December 2022. Fans can expect four new 'volumes' of content throughout the year including theme updates, at least one new mode per volume, new challenges, events, and ranks. Additionally, the paid Speed Pass will introduce at least two fully customizable new cars and a new track. Criterion also aims to fix more bugs over the course of the year. Need for Speed Unbound, released for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, marks Criterion's first NFS title since 2013's Rivals. It features a blend of realistic and exaggerated graphics, racing through the fictional Lakeshore City, inspired by Chicago. Furthermore, Need for Speed Unbound has been added to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium lineup.
