McDonald unveils Jujutsu Kaisen garlic sauce

McDonald’s is partnering with the popular anime Jujutsu Kaisen to introduce a Special Grade Garlic Sauce, which will be available exclusively through the McDonald's App starting July 9. This limited-time sauce is inspired by the Black Garlic Sauce from McDonald’s Japan and offers a blend of garlic, soy sauce, and a slight tangy sweetness. Fans can enjoy this new sauce for free with any order of Chicken McNuggets placed through the app and each sauce comes with one of eight unique lids featuring beloved characters from Jujutsu Kaisen, such as Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, Satoru Gojo, and Mahito.

The Jujutsu Kaisen-themed Special Grade Garlic Sauce will be available starting July 9.

Released in 2020, Jujutsu Kaisen quickly became a hit anime series, captivating audiences with its thrilling storyline and complex characters. Set in a world where Cursed Spirits feed on unsuspecting humans, the series follows high school student Yuji Itadori as he joins a secret organization of Jujutsu Sorcerers to combat these threats.
