The animation show "Rick and Morty" has unveiled their fresh voice talents for its seventh season, introducing Ian Cardoni and Harry Belden as the new voices for the characters of Rick Sanchez and Morty Smith, respectively. These changes come after the original voice actor and series creator Justin Roiland left the show earlier this year.

It is important to mention that Roiland's exit followed allegations of domestic violence, which were eventually dismissed, and revelations about conflicts he had with his fellow creators on "Rick and Morty" as well as "Solar Opposites". Adult Swim, the network airing the show, decided to replace Roiland's characters with soundalike actors and continue producing the show as always.

This decision appears to have paid off so far. The series' Season 8 is already scripted and plans for Season 9 are under development. The initial two episodes of "Rick and Morty" seventh season, featuring the new voice actors, have been well received. They still possess the characteristic blend of clever meta-humor, emotional depth, and slightly grotesque animation that audiences have come to love about the show. Interestingly, the new voices are said to sound almost indistinguishable from Roiland, keeping the show's eccentric vibes very much alive.
