Big News for Diablo 4 Fans: Coming to Steam and is Steam Deck Verified From Day One
Guess what, gaming enthusiasts? Diablo 4 is not only set to invade your Steam libraries from tomorrow, but it will also arrive with the badge of Steam Deck Verified from the get-go. This latest revelation was shared by none other than Adam Fletcher, the Global Community Development Director of the gaming franchise, on the official gaming forum X.
In gaming lingo, being 'Steam Deck Verified' affirms that a game will run smoothly on the Valve handheld device. Plus, all controls will also be fully operational. Unveiled by Blizzard, the game developer, this news significantly enhances the earlier update that stated Diablo 4's imminent arrival on Steam.
Heading back a bit, Blizzard had earlier in the year announced its plans to expand a host of its games to Steam, a move from its previous exclusive availability on Battle.net only. Apart from this major shift, the game's second season, known as 'Season of Blood', is also scheduled to kick off tomorrow.
Game critic Erik Nusselder nodded his head to the game's excellence with a whopping 9, stating "Diablo 4 improves in many areas, makes your choices matter and offers characters that you can fully customize. This is an excellent foundation that Diablo fans will cherish for many years."
However, the promotional run-up for the upcoming 'Season of Blood' wasn't flawless, with Blizzard recently pulling off a posted trailer due to discovered errors by observant fans. Even though the video was promptly removed, the spotlighted errors were widely discussed across the internet. Detailed in the gaming-related video below, these slip-ups were highlighted.
