The producer of Final Fantasy, Naoki Yoshida, confirmed via a Twitter post that Final Fantasy 16 is set for a PC port. Rumors about the port have been making rounds for some time, and now it's officially under development. This announcement came as the PlayStation 5 version of the game received an array of enhancements, all part of a free update.
In addition to the PC port and PS5 version upgrade, Yoshida also unveiled plans for at least two paid DLC packages. One of them is centered around Valisthea.
The free update, now available for all players, includes elements like a weapon skin feature and alternative outfits for characters Clive, Jill, Torgal, Ambrosia, and Joshua.
However, the release date for the PC version of the game is yet to be announced. The PC port of Final Fantasy 16 is unlikely to be launched before the release of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, which is slated for release this winter.
