COO Haruhito Tsujimoto of Capcom, the video game company behind franchises such as Resident Evil, Street Fighter, and Monster Hunter, has stated his company's position on possible takeover bids.

In an interview with Bloomberg, he revealed that Capcom has no interest in being acquired by larger companies such as Microsoft. If such a proposal were to arise, Tsujimoto declared, "I would graciously reject the offer. I think it's better to be equal partners".

Beyond rejecting potential takeover offers, Tsujimoto also indicated that Capcom is not planning to acquire other companies in the foreseeable future. He stated, "Instead of buying another company, we prefer organic growth. It's important to train people in-house and grow in that manner. I also believe we can partner with external entities, but we have no plans to purchase companies".

This news comes in the backdrop of robust discussion among video game enthusiasts and industry insiders about the trend of major corporations acquiring gaming studios. Capcom, according to Tsujimoto, would rather focus on internal growth and training their employees, strengthening their offerings that way.
