Prime Video has unveiled new details about the animated series Batman: Caped Crusader at San Diego Comic-Con 2024. The series, produced by Bruce Timm and featuring Minnie Driver as a gender-flipped Penguin, offers a noir-inspired reimagining of Batman's early crime-fighting days. Joining her are Hamish Linklater as Batman and Jamie Chung as Harley Quinn. Set to premiere on August 1, 2024, all ten episodes of the first season will be available on Prime Video. The show introduces a fresh take on the Batman universe, focusing on both new and familiar characters within Gotham City.
