Warhammer 40,000: Darktide receives continuous updates, with the latest reveal from developer Fatshark including a new major update called 'Secrets of the Machine God'. Set for release on June 25 for PC and Xbox, this update introduces a mission on a derelict Mechanicus research station and brings new weapons like Bolt Pistols, Ogryn Pickaxes, Shockmauls, and a new shotgun. An in-game event called Hestia's Decollation Crusade tasks players with defeating swarm bosses for rewards like Ordo Dockets, Plasteel, and Diamantine.

In parallel, Vermintide 2 sees its own Skulls for the Skull Throne in-game event, live until June 9. An update today brings quality-of-life improvements, bug fixes, and new weekly expeditions, along with additions to the Chest of Trials and 30 new Boons. Additionally, from May 30 to June 9, players can experience the return of the Verus Alpha with the first playable boss, the Bile Troll.
