Fans of the critically-acclaimed The Last of Us series can look forward to an in-depth exploration of the title's creation as Naughty Dog announces the release of "Grounded 2: Making The Last of Us: Part 2". This extensive documentary, chronicling the making of the game, will be available from February 2nd on YouTube, and it will also be added to The Last of Us: Part 2 Remastered through a patch that will include new skins for the game's main characters Ellie and Abby. The documentary project, which had been in the works since 2016, was put on pause due to the COVID-19 pandemic but has now been completed. It serves as a sequel to the acclaimed "Grounded: The Making of The Last of Us" documentary about the first game in the series.

When will the "Grounded 2: Making The Last of Us: Part 2" documentary be available?

The documentary will be available on YouTube and as an update to The Last of Us: Part 2 Remastered starting from February 2nd.

As one of the flagship titles for PlayStation, The Last of Us: Part II is an action-adventure game developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for the PlayStation 4, with a remastered version available on the PlayStation 5. The game is a sequel to The Last of Us from 2013 and continues the story of Ellie and Joel in a post-apocalyptic United States. The series is known for its deep narrative, character development, and emotive storytelling, often pushing the boundaries of video game narratives. The first game's success led to The Last of Us Part II becoming one of the most anticipated games leading up to its release. It garnered critical acclaim alongside controversy for its dark narrative upon release in June 2020.
