The Design of the PlayStation Access Controller
Oct 13, 2023 9:50 AMSony PlayStation has shared a video detailing the design of their new PlayStation Access controller. Earlier revealed this year under the project name 'Leonardo', the controller is essentially a flat circle that players can customize with buttons as per their requirements.
The unique design allows players to use a single Access controller or combine two, or even mix one Access controller with a traditional DualSense controller. The idea is to enhance the gaming experience for gamers with physical disabilities.
The progressive controller design can be mounted on a tripod and comes with various caps for the analog stick and buttons. It also has four 3.5mm AUX inputs to support the addition of more buttons, sticks, or other components. The Access controller will be available from December 6, costing 89.99 euros.
Also forthcoming is the Adaptive Gaming Kit, a collaboration between Sony and Logitech G. It includes additional components to further customize users' gaming experiences. More information about the kit, available from next January, can be found under the video.
The Adaptive Gaming Kit is set to price at 79.99 euros.
