surprise demo and Okami collab in Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess

Capcom has announced that the demo for Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is available now across multiple platforms. The demo lets players experience a portion of the main story without any restrictions on playtime or the number of times it can be played. The game combines action and strategy elements, with gameplay involving purifying villages by day and defending against enemies by night. Additionally, Capcom has revealed a special collaboration with their classic game Okami. This collaboration introduces Okami-themed costumes, weapons, and music to Kunitsu-Gami. Players can unlock these items through a bonus campaign by participating before the game's full release on July 19, 2024.

The demo is available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows, PS5, PS4, and Steam.

Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess was first introduced at the 2023 Xbox Games Showcase, followed by a gameplay reveal in March at the Xbox Partner Preview. The game features a mix of third-person action and tower defense-style tactics. Players must purify defiled mountains during the day and protect characters from enemies at night, continuing this cycle until peace is restored.
