Mar 03, 2024 10:58 AM

Players awaiting bug fixes for "Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League" will have to be patient as Rocksteady Studios focuses on the upcoming Season 1 update, which will introduce the Joker as a new playable character. Despite the initial poor reception, low player numbers, and Warner Bros.’ dissatisfaction with the game’s sales, Rocksteady remains committed to improving the experience. Although a patch was expected to address gameplay issues and the much-anticipated Mutator changes, the development team has shifted its focus towards ensuring the successful launch of Season 1, which will also include new gear and environments. However, the studio is exploring alternative fixes for login and multiplayer issues that won't require a client-side patch before the next update. A specific release date for Season 1 has not been announced, but it is due this month. Additionally, Rocksteady has invited player feedback through a dedicated channel on its Discord server.

What new content can players expect in Season 1 of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League?

Season 1 of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is set to feature the Joker as a new playable character, alongside new gear, environments, and more content yet to be detailed.

"Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League" is an action-adventure shooter game developed by Rocksteady Studios, the creators behind the critically acclaimed Batman: Arkham series. The game places players in the roles of DC Comics' infamous Suicide Squad, including Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark, as they embark on a mission to stop the Justice League who have been brainwashed by the alien supervillain Brainiac. Despite the hype and the developer's celebrated track record, the title has struggled with various issues since its launch. With the promise of new updates and added content like the Joker, Rocksteady hopes to revitalize the game and its community.
