Studio Ghibli’s The Boy and the Heron Hits Max Sept 6

Studio Ghibli’s award-winning film, "The Boy and the Heron," will begin streaming exclusively on Max starting September 6. Warner Bros. Discovery secured U.S. streaming rights for this 2023 animated feature by Hayao Miyazaki, which won Best Animated Feature at the 9th Academy Awards. Internationally, Netflix will stream the movie by the end of 2024. This marks the first time the film will be available on a streaming platform. The English dub features an impressive voice cast, including Christian Bale, Dave Bautista, and Florence Pugh.
