Apr 27, 2024 6:51 PM

Stardew Valley's dedicated fans have plenty to celebrate with the game's latest update 1.6.6, which follows a series of patches, culminating in a significant rework and addition of 40 new mine layouts. The update delivers a mix of fresh content, including the exciting fish frenzies, additional items for fish tanks, and enchantment changes. Particularly notable are the 20 new volcano dungeon layouts, as well as quality of life improvements and an extended range of items available through the Raccoon Shop. However, console and mobile players are advised to be patient, as the update for these platforms is still underway, with no confirmed release date at present.

Devoted miners will be pleased to hear that update 1.6.6 also ushers in enhanced functionality for bee houses with garden pots, ensures bee houses are more productive, and introduces new minecart depot layouts. Furthermore, players can now toggle the golden clock and benefit from a more focused 50% mastery XP bonus, which now strictly applies to farming. This update arrives with a slew of fixes addressing crashes in the mines, ensuring compatibility with mods, and rectifying NPC issues triggered by mods.

When will Stardew Valley update 1.6 be available for consoles and mobile?

Update 1.6 for Stardew Valley is currently in progress for consoles and mobile platforms, and while there is no confirmed release date, developer ConcernedApe has indicated that the ports are being actively worked on.

Stardew Valley, known for its charming blend of farming and life simulation, initially launched in 2016 and has since captured the hearts of players worldwide. The game, created by indie developer ConcernedApe, allows players to take on the role of a character who moves from the city to their grandfather's old farm in Stardew Valley. Players can grow crops, raise livestock, mine for resources, fish, and build relationships with the townspeople. It's been praised for its depth, open-ended gameplay, and the constant updates that add new features and content, keeping the community engaged and the experience fresh.
