Star Wars Skeleton Crew Disney+ Launch Moved Up One Day

Disney has officially moved up the release date of the highly anticipated Star Wars series, Skeleton Crew, to December 2, 2024. Originally scheduled for December 3, the two-episode premiere will now debut on Disney+ at 6 PM PT. This new series features Jude Law as Jod Na Nawood, a Force user, and draws inspiration from The Goonies. Set in the timeline of The Mandalorian and after Return of the Jedi, the show promises nostalgic callbacks, including a nod to the infamous Star Wars Holiday Special and features characters from previous Star Wars canon. The series will consist of eight episodes concluding on January 14, 2025. Other upcoming Star Wars projects include Andor Season 2 and Ahsoka: Season 2, as well as a new film trilogy not directly tied to the Skywalker Saga.
