Square Enix Promises No Cheats for Final Fantasy 7 Remake Airship

Nov 18, 2024 9:02 AM

Square Enix has reassured fans that the upcoming Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3 will not skimp on the airship system, a beloved feature from the original game. During the G-STAR 2024 conference, producer Yoshinori Kitase and director Naoki Hamaguchi confirmed that the Highwind airship will enable players to explore the world from a new perspective. They aimed for a seamless airship experience throughout the game map, raising questions about how high and low the airship can traverse, and whether players will encounter loading screens or be able to land anywhere. Although the main story is concluded, a 2027 release window is projected, following previous installments' launches.

Will the Highwind airship system in Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3 be seamless and expansive?

Yes, Square Enix promises that the Highwind will allow for expansive exploration of the game map without loading screens, creating a more immersive experience.

Final Fantasy 7 originally released in 1997 and has since become a cornerstone of role-playing games. The remake trilogy aims to bring modern graphics and storytelling to the classic, with the second installment, Rebirth, launching in February 2024. Despite some commercial performance shortcomings of recent titles, Square Enix is committed to delivering a faithful and enriched experience for fans of the franchise.
