Insomniac Games has confirmed that Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will not be receiving any additional story DLC, leaving fans disappointed. This announcement coincides with the reveal of a PC version set to release in January 2025. Since its launch in September 2023, Insomniac has introduced updates including New Game+ and new suits, but the absence of story expansions has left many speculating about unresolved plotlines, such as the introduction of Carnage. Despite previous expectations for DLC, the recent data breach and Sony's layoffs have altered the studio's plans and priorities.
