Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 finally confirms the return of its PVP mode in a new trailer during the Warhammer Skulls showcase. Developed by Saber Interactive and set for release in September 2024, this third-person action game sees the Ultramarines chapter of Space Marines battling against Tyranids and Chaos Marines. The PVP mode includes three 6V6 modes: Annihilation, Seize Ground, and Capture & Control. Additionally, the game has a three-player co-op mode called Operations. Players can choose between six available classes, such as the Combat Shield-wielding Bulwark and the stealthy Sniper, and customize their Space Marine's appearance extensively. The game will have a season pass offering more cosmetics and new content through regular free updates. Owners of more expensive editions can play the game four days before the official release date. The story revolves around Lieutenant Titus of the Ultramarines defending against a Tyranid invasion and Chaos Marines.
