Netflix's animated series "Castlevania: Nocturne" has won a second season, just a week after its debut. This continuation will be co-directed by Sam and Adam Deats and delve into "the next chapter in the rise of Richter Belmont," as stated by showrunners Clive Bradley and Kevin Kolde.
"Castlevania: Nocturne" is set 300 years after the conclusion of the original four-season Netflix series, "Castlevania," and follows Richter Belmont, a descendant of Trevor Belmont and the bearer of his legacy. The story unfolds in France during the climax of the French Revolution, ominously coinciding with the emergence of a so-called "Vampire Messiah" who is intent on consuming the sun and launching the world into darkness.
Fans praised the first season of "Nocturne" for its intense and violent narrative, and it received a stellar 9/10 in our review. If you haven't seen it yet, rest assured, it will be worth the watch. There are even a few surprise appearances from characters of the original series in store for you.
Stay tuned for more updates on Season 2 of "Castlevania: Nocturne", as details about its release or storyline are yet to be revealed.
