Scorpion set to join Multiversus roster, rumors say

MultiVersus, Warner Bros.'s crossover brawler, has hinted at an exciting new addition to its character roster. Scorpion from the iconic Mortal Kombat series might soon join the game. Player First Games community manager Ajax teased the potential inclusion on social media. MultiVersus, a game likened to Nintendo's Smash Bros., features a variety of Warner Bros. characters, including Batman and Agent Smith. Although the game's player count has fluctuated since its May relaunch, a mid-season update patch is set to enhance the experience with Agent Smith arriving on July 8. Meanwhile, Mortal Kombat fans await the release of Kombat Pack 2 and a story expansion for Mortal Kombat 1, with dataminers suggesting several new DLC characters are on the horizon.

While there is no official confirmation yet, the tease by the community manager suggests that an announcement or release might be imminent. Players should keep an eye out for updates from Player First Games.
