Rumor has it, Electronic Arts (EA) is working on a remake of the popular video game "Need for Speed: Most Wanted" from 2005. This news was shared by actress Simone Bailly, who originally lent her voice to a character in the game.
Bailly announced this news on Twitter and Instagram, but her posts have since been taken down. According to her, the remake is set to be released sometime in 2024. The fact that her posts have been removed suggests that the information could indeed be accurate.
In the past, Bailly played the role of the partner of the main character, Sergeant Jonathan Cross. Although there was a reboot of "Need for Speed: Most Wanted" in 2012, Bailly did not feature in it. It’s currently unclear whether Bailly's dialogues in the game will be recorded again or simply given a digital upgrade.
"Need for Speed: Most Wanted" is still recognized as one of the best games in the series. If you're interested in the latest "Need for Speed" game, you might want to check out Carl's review of "Need For Speed Unbound".
