GTA Online to Introduce Animals and New Robberies on Consoles
Grand Theft Auto Online keeps fans engaged with an exciting upcoming update that will introduce animals into the game, exclusively for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S users. This addition marks a significant expansion to the online world which has been devoid of the wildlife present in the original GTA 5 since 2013. The Rockstar Games update promises that these animals will roam freely across the Southern San Andreas landscape.
The update also includes new missions involving high-stakes robberies orchestrated by Yusuf Amir from The Ballad of Gay Tony. Players will be required to plan and carry out these detailed heists, giving them opportunities to either sell top-end vehicles to Yusuf or break them down for parts at a new salvage yard business.
Moreover, console players can also anticipate a new Drift Race series, enhanced vehicle customization options, and a series of festive surprises. Quality of life improvements include a more streamlined interaction menu which simplifies navigation. For players subscribed to GTA+, there's an added bonus of acquiring a Vinewood Club Garage that can hold up to 100 vehicles, and the convenience of managing vehicle collections through the Interaction Menu.
Both console and PC users will benefit from various experience improvements like increased LS Car Meet Reputation points for races, a new Specification Service at the LS Car Meet to buy player's personal vehicles, custom tags for garage floors, and a setting that defaults console voice chat to off. There's even a small birthday bonus for all players on their character’s birthday!
As the gaming community anticipates the next big leap with GTA 6, Rockstar Games continues to enrich GTA Online with more content, including new music, holiday modes, and other enhancements.
GTA Online, developed by Rockstar North, has been a staple for multiplayer gaming on various platforms since its release and maintains popularity through regular updates and community engagement.
