The sequel to the popular Capcom horror game, Resident Evil Village, will be available for iPhone 15 Pro and iPad on October 30. The port, as reported by Gematsu, will be on sale for $39.99, with The Winters' Expansion available as a separate purchase for $19.99. The announcement followed the quiet release of Resident Evil Village for iPhone and iPad by Capcom, confirmed both on their official U.S. and Japanese websites.
Resident Evil Village will also be available on iPads that support either the M1 or M2 chip, running at an expected 30 frames per second. However, gamers who have previously purchased the Mac version of the game will have to double purchase to access the game on their iPhone or iPad, as Capcom has mentioned no universal purchase option for the macOS version.
Resident Evil Village was among one of the four games showcased at Apple's Wonderlust event this month. Other games included Resident Evil 4, Death Stranding, and Assassin's Creed Mirage - all of them announced to receive native versions with console-quality exclusive to the A17 Pro chip on iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max.
