Ready or Not Launching on Consoles and Epic Games Store Soon

The tactical first-person shooter Ready or Not, developed by Void Interactive, is set to release on consoles later this year, with an official window announced for summer 2025. Although no specific date has been confirmed, the game will also become available on the Epic Games Store and Microsoft Store, along with a new cinematic trailer from the Galaxies Showcase. Set in the crime-ridden Los Sueños, players will lead SWAT teams in high-stakes scenarios including bomb threats and hostage situations. Ready or Not will feature 20 missions for single-player and up to four-player co-op gameplay, with additional content including two missions from free DLC and new levels introduced in paid DLC packs. The game will cost £45 ($50) for the base edition and £60 ($70) for the Deluxe Edition that includes three DLC packs, along with exclusive weapons for pre-order customers. Having previously experienced setbacks, including the loss of its publisher following a controversial statement regarding a school shooting mission, Ready or Not has gathered a dedicated following since its early access launch.

Ready or Not will be available on consoles including PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, as well as the Epic Games Store and Microsoft Store.

Ready or Not has garnered attention for its focus on authentic tactical gameplay and realistic SWAT team simulation. The game allows players to customize their team members fully, from weapons to armor, creating a personalized gameplay experience. Its previous early access version was well-received, demonstrating strong community support despite the controversies surrounding its narrative approach.
