World Rally Champion Kalle Rovanperä has shared positive thoughts on the upcoming EA Sports WRC game in a recent promotional video. The youngest-ever rally champion said great things about the game. He's just turned 23 years old.

EA Sports WRC has been developed by Codemasters using Unreal Engine technology, as they strive to provide “the purest form of motorsport.” Within the game, each track presents a unique challenge against the clock, the terrain, and oneself. Ross Gowing, Senior Creative Director, expressed that this was "the rally game we always wanted to make," combining years of expertise with the official WRC license.

The game features seventeen former and current FIA World Rally Championship locations with over two hundred tracks. Furthermore, the Central Europe Rally will be added via an update after its release. Cross-platform online multiplayer supporting up to 32 players is another key feature. The game also includes a list of various cars for game-players to experience.

EA Sports WRC is set to be released on November 3rd for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC (through EA App, Steam, and Epic Games Store). Players that pre-order will be able to access the game from October 31st.

In 2020, EA and WRC solidified a license deal running from 2023 through 2027. Following this deal, the game production responsibility transitioned from Kylotonn to Codemasters, now part of the EA network.
