Rainbow Six Siege Unleashes Full Crossplay in Year 9 Season 4

Rainbow Six Siege is set to introduce full crossplay in its Year 9 Season 4 update, launching on December 3. This exciting addition will allow seamless play between PC and console gamers. The update, titled Operation Collision Point, will also enhance the anticheat system, remaster an Operator, and make gameplay balance adjustments. Additionally, the introduction of the Siege Cup will offer a competitive playlist where players can earn rewards. Ubisoft emphasizes that players using a Mousetrap Penalty will be restricted to PC matchmaking for a period, ensuring a fair gaming experience.

The crossplay update will allow PC and console players to compete together, with PC players entering their own matchmaking pool when playing with console players. Anticheat measures will be improved, and operators will see various adjustments to enhance gameplay balance.
