In an update for gaming enthusiasts, the highly anticipated simulation game Prison Architect 2 has experienced a delay, now set to launch on 7th May instead of its initial release date of 26th March. This delay, announced by Paradox Interactive and developer Double Eleven, is aimed at providing them with additional time to iron out bugs and optimize the game for a smoother first-day experience across different platforms.

The sequel to the original Prison Architect promises to bring a significant visual upgrade with 3D graphics and will include new gameplay elements such as multi-floor prisons, giving players even more control over prison architecture and regulations. Additionally, inmates will now be able to form relationships among themselves, adding a new layer to the gameplay.

The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam and is priced at €39.99. Fans will get a glimpse of the gameplay as the developers are set to stream the game from March. Prison Architect 2's debut is highly anticipated by fans of management and simulation games.

When can players expect to play Prison Architect 2?

The new release date for Prison Architect 2 is 7th May, across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam.
