POKEMON GO ANNOUNCES NEW EVENT FOR POKEMON HORIZONS: THE SERIES RELEASE

Feb 27, 2024 7:21 PM

Pokemon Go is celebrating the release of Pokemon Horizons: The Series with an event scheduled to run from March 5 to March 11. Trainers can look forward to the debut of Charcadet, a new Pokemon from the Paldea region, which evolves into either Armarouge or Ceruledge. This event allows trainers to catch Charcadet in the wild, in certain eggs, and will also feature Pokemon and characters from Pokemon Horizons in snapshots. Special bonuses include double XP for hatching Pokemon, PokeStop Showcases, and increased appearances of Team Go Rocket balloons. Pikachu sporting Cap's hat will be available, along with several Pokemon appearing more frequently in the wild, and variations in one-star and three-star raids. Event-themed Field Research will also be available alongside shiny versions of certain Pokemon. U.S. fans can watch the series on Netflix starting March 7, while UK fans will find it on BBC iPlayer; other regions should check local listings. The event is perfect for players seeking new Pokemon from the Paldea region or looking to enjoy some unique in-game bonuses.

What are the evolutions of Charcadet in Pokemon Go and how can I evolve it?

To evolve Charcadet into Armarouge in Pokemon Go, you need to make Charcadet your buddy and defeat 30 Psychic-type Pokemon. To evolve it into Ceruledge, defeat 30 Ghost-type Pokemon after making Charcadet your buddy.

Pokemon Go, developed by Niantic, is a popular augmented reality (AR) mobile game that dynamically integrates real-world geography with the gameplay, compelling players to physically explore their surroundings to catch Pokemon. It's based on the wildly successful Pokemon franchise, which encompasses video games, TV series, movies, card games, and more. Since its launch in 2016, Pokemon Go has maintained a large player base by continuously introducing new content, features, and collaborative events like the one tying in with the Pokemon Horizons: The Series.
