Paramount Aims for Sonic Movies as Huge as Avengers Can Sonic Match the MCU

Paramount Pictures, the studio behind the Sonic the Hedgehog movie franchise, is planning to scale up the series to "Avengers-level events," referencing the grandeur of Marvel Cinematic Universe's flagship films. Executive Producer Toby Ascher suggests that the upcoming movies and the Knuckles television series will expand the Sonic universe, offering deeper character development and significant storylines. Although the films have been commercially successful, it remains to be seen if Sonic can replicate the MCU's cultural impact over almost two decades. The Sonic 3 movie is highly anticipated with its release date set for December 20, and fans are eager for a full trailer drop, following a teaser that showcased the series' best song in February.
