Nintendo Disables Switch 2 Rumble After Prolonged Play

Nintendo Switch 2 users are experiencing issues with the Joy-Con controllers as reports emerge of the vibration feature being turned off due to “prolonged use.” Players have noticed messages indicating the rumble has been disabled after varying amounts of playtime, with some instances occurring after only 20 minutes. This appears to primarily affect titles with heavy vibration, like Cyberpunk 2077, causing frustration among gamers. Although no official response from Nintendo has been given yet, it's speculated that this might be a power-saving feature intended to prolong Joy-Con battery life. As a temporary measure, players have found that the only way to avoid constant warnings is to turn off the rumble feature entirely in the settings.

If you’re experiencing consistent rumble disconnection interruptions, temporarily disabling the vibration feature in the settings can prevent the annoying pop-up from appearing.
