Blizzard Entertainment has announced that the second season of Diablo 4, named Season of Blood, will be available on October 17.

The season features seasoned vampire hunter Eris, voiced by British actress Gemma Chan, who is known for her work in "Humans" and "Eternals".

During this season, players will aid Eris in ridding Sanctuary of a vampire infestation and will have access to vampire-themed abilities, five new end bosses, and an extra questline.

Blizzard's head, Rod Fergusson, also revealed that Diablo 4 boasts 12 million players who've collectively played the game for 1.3 billion hours.

Other notable updates include an Alan Wake 2 trailer presented at Gamescom Opening Night Live 2023, and the announcement that characters Sindel and General Shao are playable in Mortal Kombat 1.

Also, the release date for Tekken 8 and its new single-player mode were revealed.
