The Pokémon Trading Card Game is a collectible card game based on the hugely popular Pokémon video game series. Players typically build decks around their favorite Pokémon and strategies to battle against each other in a turn-based format. The game has been around since 1996, growing and adapting by introducing new mechanics, Pokémon generations, and special expansions that keep the meta-game dynamic and engaging for both new players and veteran collectors.
