Activision has announced the new Call of Duty: Warzone map, Urzikstan, in its recent Next-livestream. The map is described as smaller yet more feature-packed than its predecessors, Al Mazrah and Caldera. The fictional location, which appears to border Eastern Europe and the Middle East, is familiar from previous Call of Duty games.

Eleven 'points of interests' have been highlighted in Urzikstan such as Old Town, Levin Resort, Seaport District, Orlov Military Base, Zaravan City, and Hadiqa Farms. Images and a map of the location are available for preview. Urzikstan will be included in the first season of Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone 2, which is set to launch in December this year.

Existing maps, Vondel and Ashika island, will remain playable even after the introduction of Urzikstan. Additionally, a new version of Warzone Ranked is planned to be released in 2024. More details are available on the official website.

Along with this, Activision also introduced the Zombies mode for Modern Warfare 3.
