New Batman Arkham Game Exclusive for Meta Quest 3

Exciting news for Batman fans as a new installment in the acclaimed Batman: Arkham series has been announced. Titled Batman: Arkham Shadow, this upcoming game will bring players back into the dark and gritty streets of Gotham City. However, there's a twist – Arkham Shadow will only be available on the Meta Quest 3 VR platform. Developed by Camouflaj, the team behind Iron Man VR, and in collaboration with Warner Bros. and DC, the game is set to expand the Arkhamverse created by Rocksteady Studios.

While the announcement did not reveal much about the gameplay, Gotham is portrayed as a city under threat, hinting at the immersive experience awaiting players. The teaser featured plenty of rats, leading to speculation that the villain Ratcatcher might be central to the plot. While the character referenced in previous Arkham games hasn't been a direct fixture till now, this game may change that. Fans can expect to learn more at the Summer Game Fest on June 7, where Batman: Arkham Shadow will be showcased.

As Batman: Arkham Shadow is a VR title releasing exclusively on the Meta Quest 3, the game will require a Meta Quest 3 headset to play. Specific system requirements beyond the need for this VR hardware have not been disclosed yet.
