New Astro Bot Gameplay: Watch 8 Minutes Before You Decide

Jul 28, 2024 3:53 PM

Astro Bot is set to release its new game in September, featuring expanded platforming action. PlayStation introduced the sequel in May, revealing impressive gameplay, which is now available for demo at ChinaJoy 2024. Highlights include levels with boss fights, space challenges, and cameos from Jak and Daxter, as well as Journey. The game promises over 150 classic PlayStation characters and difficult levels. Reassuringly, Astro's Playroom, the PS5 demo, was received well, and this new installment boasts over 80 levels with enhanced features. The game will be available on PS5 starting September 6.

What new features does the Astro Bot game include?

The new Astro Bot game includes over 150 classic PlayStation character cameos, expanded platforming action, boss fights, space challenges, and more than 80 difficult levels. It builds upon the features shown in Astro's Playroom, including the PS5's haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.

Astro's Playroom, initially a demo to showcase the PS5's capabilities, gained popularity for its innovative use of the new console's features. The sequel promises to expand on this foundation, providing a richer and more engaging platforming experience for players.
