Sep 20, 2024 12:47 AM

Netflix has unveiled the first trailer for the upcoming video game spinoff from Zack Snyder's Rebel Moon franchise titled Blood Line: A Rebel Moon Game. Set to release in 2025, this online cooperative action game allows players to step into the roles of rebels fighting to reclaim their planet from Moterhworld. Developed by Super Evil Megacorp, known for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate, this game envisions a multiplayer experience where players can customize their characters from various classes. The reveal was part of Netflix Geeked Week 2024 Live, highlighting the game's connection to Snyder's expanding Rebel Moon universe, which includes two films released to mixed reviews.

What can players expect from Blood Line: A Rebel Moon Game?

Players can look forward to an online co-op action experience where they choose from different character classes to battle together against forces threatening their planet, offering a unique gameplay experience within the Rebel Moon universe.

Rebel Moon started as two films directed by Zack Snyder, with the first installment, Rebel Moon Part 1: A Child of Fire, premiering in December 2023 and the sequel following in April 2024. Despite their ambitious vision, both films struggled with critical reception, prompting discussions on how the video game will build upon the existing lore and provide players with an engaging and faithful addition to the franchise.
