Now, it's time for a new take on the beloved manga, which captivated readers more than three decades ago. This Netflix adaptation has Takumi Kitamura, famed for his role in the live-action film adaptation of "Tokyo Revengers", playing the lead character, Yusuke Urameshi.

Kitamura expressed his pride in participating in the anime that helped make Japan the manga and anime capital of the world. According to him, "Yu Yu Hakusho" is a unique masterpiece and a symbol of why Japan's manga and anime culture is renowned and cherished worldwide.

Netflix's adaptation doesn't stop with Kitamura. Other cast members include Jun Shison playing Kurama, a fox demon; Kanata Hongo as Hiei, the Master of the Evil Eye, and Shuhei Uesugi as Kazuma Kurabawa.
