Monster Hunter Wilds Benchmark Tool Promises Better PC Performance

Feb 05, 2025 11:52 AM

Capcom has launched the Monster Hunter Wilds benchmark tool for PC ahead of the game's upcoming beta sessions. This tool allows players to assess how well the game will run on their systems as they prepare for the beta test beginning on February 6. While the benchmark is based on the final code, players should note that the beta will not reflect the same performance levels. During the beta, players can experience a portion of the game's intro and fight against various monsters including Gypceros and the flagship Arkveld. Along with new features like private lobbies and cross-play support, players are encouraged to finalize their character and Palico design before the full game launches.

What new features can we expect in the Monster Hunter Wilds beta?

The Monster Hunter Wilds beta will introduce several features including the ability to create private lobbies, cross-play support, and a new training area. Players will face new monsters, which enhances the multiplayer experience as they can invite others to join their hunt.

Monster Hunter Wilds continues the legacy of the beloved Monster Hunter series, known for its challenging gameplay and monster battles. Capcom aims to streamline various aspects of the gameplay while introducing engaging mechanics, making it accessible to both newcomers and veteran players. As the game progresses, fans speculate about potential spin-off concepts, blending genres similar to Stardew Valley with Monster Hunter elements.
