Gaming company Mojang has announced it will no longer provide support for Minecraft Dungeons, a popular gaming title it launched in 2020. The final update, version 1.17, was released in November of last year.
As per the announcement, Mojang's team will now focus on exploring new projects within the Minecraft universe. This means there will be no forthcoming features or content planned for Minecraft Dungeons.
The game, a dungeon crawler set in the Minecraft universe, has been played by over 25 million people since its release.
Despite this change, fans can still look forward to the annual Minecraft Live-stream event, planned for October 15th at 7:00 p.m. Dutch time, which will surely share news about Minecraft and Minecraft: Legends, and more specifically update 1.21 for Minecraft.
Michel Musters, part of the editorial team since 2007, shared this news.
