Within ten days of its release, game developer CI Games and publisher Hexworks announced that 'Lords of the Fallen' has sold over a million copies. The companies expressed gratitude towards the gaming community for their valuable feedback and continuous support, making this success possible.

The game, launched earlier this month on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, and the Epic Games Store, plays thousand years post the original in an in-game world that is roughly five times larger. This universe is bifurcated into a realm for the living and one for the dead.

Besides typical RPG elements like an expansive combat system and a feature to customize characters as per the player's preference, 'Lords of the Fallen' also includes online co-op for two players.

Post the release, the developer has implemented multiple patches improving the performance and adding new gameplay options, such as 'New Game Plus' mode and cross-play between consoles. This Thursday, a patch is due to enable cross-play between consoles and PCs.
