Gamers anticipating the next installment in the Yakuza series will be thrilled to learn that "Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth" is set to feature its largest map yet. According to developer Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, the new Hawaii location, known as Honolulu City, is three times larger than the one in "Yakuza: Like a Dragon" and nine times the size of Kamurocho. The expansion introduces various districts, including Aloha Beach and the Anaconda Shopping Centre, among others.

The latest Yakuza game will transport players outside of Japan for the first time, promising a grand adventure. The local mafia has an area named District 5, continuing the series' tradition of intertwining crime and exploration.

Further raising expectations, Masayoshi Yokoyama, head of RGG Studio, has described "Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth" as a "monster class" entry and the longest Yakuza game so far. This title, which is essentially Yakuza 8, follows the narrative from "Yakuza: Like a Dragon" and the spin-off "Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name". The upcoming game is notable for featuring both Kiryu Kazuma and Ichiban Kasuga as dual protagonists. Its launch is scheduled for January 26.

For fans eager for more expansive RPG action with turn-based combat, "Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth" is shaping up to be an epic addition to the Yakuza universe. The game is expected to arrive on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S, welcoming players to the largest and most detailed Yakuza experience yet.
